Member Profiles

Our members continually work to increase their knowledge and skills through training and education. Each team unit consists of a handler and their own search dog along with a support person to help with tracking, communication, navigation and clue detection.

Our team membership requirements include:
a minimum NASAR SARTECH III Certification, CPR Certification, FEMA ICS-5.A, ICS-100, ICS-700 NIMS, Crime Scene Preservation for HRD Handlers, OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen Certification, and HAZMAT Training. Our members are also required to seek outside training at a minimum of one time annually. Those trainings have included Law Enforcement Training Specialists International (LETS), Old Dominion K9, Heartland K9 Services, INKY-SAR Conference, Institute for K9 Forensics, and NASAR.
